Tara has met Peter Facinelli (Twilight)

Today, Tara tells us how she met Peter Facinelli, the Twilight actor.

"Hello,

This was in October of 2009, right before the release of New Moon.

He was doing a signing at the Arizona State Fair (I often wonder how that came about - maybe because we have two well-known Twilight fansites based here - TwiFans and CullenBoysAnonymous). As you can imagine, there was a large line of people to meet him. We had arrived there late and managed to get into the last group of about twenty people before they cut the line off. Peter came out on stage, greeted the fans, answered a few questions, and was all smiles as he went to sign.

It was slow moving because he was spending quite a bit of time with each individual fan as they went up there (there was a radio station out there that played music for the crowd and gave updates). Even with the unseasonable heat, everyone was more than happy to wait their turn. People were sharing Twilight fan stories, and holding each other's spaces in line for food and drink runs and bathroom breaks. Unfortunately about 90 minutes in they announced that

Peter would only be signing one item per person, and that the interaction would be limited. He didn't seem too happy about it, but it was explained that he had to catch a flight. The promoters were doing their best to make sure that everyone in line would have a chance to meet him, and there were quite a bit of us left. Earlier that week I had been in contact with arguably one of his biggest fans, Ninapolitan, and she was one of the organizers of Fandom Gives Back - a Twilight fundraising site for Alex's Lemonade Stand. I had told her I would ask him to autograph a New Moon photo compendium for charity, in addition to my personal one. I felt bad, pushing the 'one item' limit, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

When it was finally my turn, I handed him one of the books, and mentioned that I had spoken to Nina. He smiled, "Oh yeah, Nina! I just saw her not too long ago. How is she?" I told him about the fundraiser, and he happily signed both books, and also gave me a Carlisle Cullen autographed 8x10 for the auction. I could tell his handlers were a little distressed that he was taking the extra time, but he was tremendously gracious and more than happy to help out by signing the extra book. He even still took the time to take a photo with me.

Not only was he just genuinely nice, but his autographed items helped us raise another $125 that year. (And ridiculously handsome up close, I mean, really and truly!)

When all was said and done, he thanked everyone for coming out and was whisked away by a golf cart. It still seems like an odd place to do a signing, but we were all pretty thrilled."

Alex has met Robert Pattinson (Twilight)

Today ALex tells us how she met Robert Pattinson, the Twilight actor.

"Hello,

I went to London for the Water for Elephants premiere and it was very well organised. After 11hours of waiting (for me at least), the guests arrived, first Rob, then Reese and at last Christoph. 

Rob was very attentive to the fans and he went to all of us even after being interviewed. I was so terribly nervous I had trouble taking myself the picture with him , so I asked him to do it and of course he did, joking about it.

He's really a kind soul, adorable, funny and so handsome in real life! Reese was sweet and Christoph was really charming. It was the best premiere I went!

The second time I met Rob and Ashley was in Brussel. It was more chaotic and it went very fast because the actors were expected elsewhere. Both Rob and Ashley were beautiful and adorable, going to all the fans there."

Meghann has met Robert Pattinson (Twilight)

Today, Meghann tells us how she met Robert Pattinson, the "Twilight" actor.

"Hello.

I'd never thought my dream would come true but on October 26 2011, it did..

After long days of begging, my mom bought the tickets for the event in Brussels! It was so hard to believe I would really meet him in person. See him standing before me instead of looking at a picture of him.

And finally, the day was there. At 12.30 pm we were in Brussels. It wasn't so hard to find. We just walked the whole Ravenstein street from number 56 till number 2. There were already fences and a group of fifteen people standing there but there was still so much space left so we could stand where we wanted to. I thought there would be a lot people speaking Belgian, but almost all of them were speaking French.

Look, I have French class on school but I'm not so damn good at it. Luckily, I had my mother with me Suddenly, one of the security guards said something in French. We could understand what he meant, because he indicated with his hands. Rob and Ashley wouldn't come where we were standing ;O.. only by the double fences.

We were very lucky there was still place there and we still stood in the front. Someone I met on Hyves was suddenly standing next to me. That was very funny and we talked the whole 6 hours about twilight and sang the songs with each other.

I took a photo from the site ThinkingofRob with me so Robert and Ashley could sign it. Very glad I did. Every journalist made photos of it and I had a couple of interviews with Belgium tv channels. One asked me what I liked so much about Robert Pattinson.. I told them because he is so kind with his fans, very down to earth and of course very hot and a very good actor Yea, that was fun and I was a lot more relaxed about everything after such an interview.

There were a lot of French fans behind us pushing us to the fences before Rob and Ashley even arrived but... everything for Rob!

Finally at 6.30 pm the cars arrived and everyone including me were screaming. When we saw him wave to us in his car, we completely lost it for a moment. After he got out of the car immediately he walked in the direction were I was standing. And all of a sudden when he was standing before me I was so calm, not nervous at all. Like I'd known him for years. That was a weird but amazing feeling. I was literally locked to the fences but it was all worth it.

He signed the photo and I gave him my camera to take a picture with me, he also took my mother's camera and made a picture of himself and me, so now I have two beautiful pictures with him and Ashley also signed the photo.

Not only I brought the photo with me, I'd also bought two bags of M&M sweets because Robert is addicted to these sweets. But when I wanted to give it to him, his bodyguard wouldn't accept it :S Still, I was very happy with what I got..

Not everyone has the chance to meet The Robert Pattinson ( and Ashley Greene of course ) get an autograph and even take a picture with him. And the reason why I wanted to meet him is not only because he's The hottest man that ever walked this earth, it's because he's such a nice guy if I see him on tv. And always so funny, he just says everything what pops up in his head..

That's what I really like about people and I do it myself too.. I think I just wanted to see it with my own eyes. And it's true.. he's like I imagined he would be.. Just the sweetest guy ever!! Okay, I'm getting off track now.. or maybe not, it's still about Him right

Well, after they walked the red carpet, they said hi to us like you all have seen on the videos.  They got inside the fan event and the big screen outside started with the BTS clip form Breaking Dawn!! I thought we wouldn't see that and after this we could follow the whole fan event what was happening inside

Unfortunately I couldn't watch everything because the last train back home was at 8.22 pm so whe had to leave earlier. My mom was already walking towards 'the end of this day' but I stayed as long as I could, watching the screen where they were on. Eventually I followed my mom and I heard his voice almost the whole way to the train station."

Today, Mallory tells us how she met Kristen Stewart

"Hello,

I met Kristen at the TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival, last September).

While waitning for Kristen, I was pretty zealous and antsy. Her publicist first warned the journalist not to talk about her recent scandal. Two minutes later, Kristen arrives and my heart starts palpitating really fast. Last time I saw her was before the Breaking Dawn part 1 screening in Los Angeles.

She poses first for the TIFF studio and then comes straight to our Barricade. She takes pictures with everybody and then it's my turn. She steps up in front of me and smile. I am in a complete daze. I start talking to her "Kristen, your dress is sick". She thanks me and I ask her for a picture. She agrees and I realise I don't have any functioning camera on hand. Kristentakes a picture with my friend and then comes back to me for a picture.

Nobody has said anything about her recent scandal but you can see in her demeanour that she's a bit on the edge"

Tony has met Kristen Stewart (Twilight)

Today, Tony tells us how he met Kristen Stewart, the Twilight actress

"Hello everyone,

I saw Kristen Stewart at the premiere of On The Road (9/5/2012) during the Toronto Film Festival, her new movie coming out at Christmas. It was a very chaotic event. Hyped up as her first public appearance since her scandal with the Snow White director and subsequent Robert Pattinson breakup, everyone was quite curious as to how she would be.

She wore a fantastic dress. Her fans and Twilight fans came out in large numbers to support her, some as early as 10-12 hours in advance. She seemed to be genuinely appreciative of them breaking out in big smiles from time to time, though not often enough and at the same time overwhelmed as the night wore on.

This is one of my favorite pictures from the festival which summed up the whole experience.

She’s just swallowed up by everyone. You’ve got bodyguards, staff, 3 people trying to grab her who don’t look like fans, and then actual fans. After the movie showed, she nearly melted down crying during the Q&A session which was immediately cut short after her rambling long winded answer to a very easy question. Here is a video

The movie itself is pretty good and a breakout from what she’s used to doing. And yet, she’s not free at all. Her handlers seem to control every little bit. That’s a shame and unfortunate for Kristen. I felt bad for her because it didn’t seem like she had a very good time overall and didn’t get to do what she wanted. Hopefully, things will go better.

As a funny side story, Kirsten Dunst is also in the movie. Someone kept on yelling Kristen, Kristen to get her attention. I had to tell them, it might help if you got her name right. Guess that happens when you have a Kristen and a Kirsten in the same movie."

I met Kristen 6 times.

The first time was in Paris, last March, during the fashion Week. She had make up from a shooting and was coming back to her hotel. She came downstairs to see her fans who were waiting in front of the hotel.

She posed with 2 fans, one of them was me :) . Then she signed autographs."

"Hi,

Peter Facinelli and me

I met him in Cleveland, Ohio where he was taking pictures and signing autographs to raise money for Alex's Lemonade stand which raises money to fight childhood cancer. He was very sweet and spent several minutes with each person. I have to say that he's so cute in person! Though I was in town when he was, I live nearly two hours away. My family had to make it home for a sporting event so I ended up buying a bus ticket and took the Greyhound home!"

Today Marine tells us about her encounter with Robert Pattinson and Ashley Greene, the actors of Twilight.

On 22th of October 2011, with one of my friend, we go to Paris. There, we meet a Belgian friend we met at the premiere of "Water for Elephants"

The next day, we had put the alarm on 3 am, as we feared that there would be too many people in front of the cinema.

We arrived at the Gaumont cinema around 4.30 after having walk from the hotel and having lost our way. There was only about 15 people already there. They were there until the day before to wait, in the cold! We have been waiting there for hours, until 6 pm, when finally, Rob arrived! Ashley is there too. This time again, people are pushing us to be closer from him, it was crazy, I couldn't move and they were not even there. After some interviews and pictures for the press during the photocall, they finally come to us to sign some autographs. They are doing it really fast and Rob arrived in front of me. My friends and I can't take it anymore, people are pushing, we are stuck against the security fence, our feet are not touching the floor, it was just crazy!

When Rob is just next to me, I ask him  « Rob, Can I take a picture with you please? ». he then told me «Sure, Of course! » with a big smile.

I have finally it, my first picture with Robert Pattinson. He was going to leave when the guy behind me asked him for a picture. So Robert leaned on me to be on the picture with the guy. That was great! After that he left.

Ashley arrived at that moment. She is really stunning, with sparkly eyes. She signed me an autograph, but i hadn't time to take a picture. After that they have done one last photocall and entered in the theater"

Fivel, Booboo Stewart and me

I had met Boo Boo a few years earlier when he was in a band called T-Squad. This time, I was helping out a charity at a Hollywood Gifting Suite (an event where celebs go and receive free products in return for posing with them in pictures) and I saw him and his sister Fivel. After we took the photo, I reminded him of his T-Squad days and he just said "Oh gosh!" as if he was embarrassed about those kiddie band days. He and Fivel are really cool. I've met them a couple times."

"Hello,

Ashley Greene and me

My daughters's friend had won ticket for the Twilight premiere and an encounter with the actors. 

We went there and waited impatiently  with a glass of Champagne. When we soddenly heard the crowd screaming, we knew they were there.

Ashley entered first, with bodyguards. She was stunning in her white dress. She came straight to us to say hello and shake our hands. We tried to exchange some words in English as good as we could. She was really nice  and signed some autographs. She also did some pictures with us. 

Then it was Xavier Samuel's turn. He was even more beautiful than in the movie. He also came directly to salute us. I asked him for a picture and he said " Yes, Sure".

We then went to see the 3 movies, launched by the actors. 

It is a great memory, one of those that happens only once in a lifetime, I'll never forget it.

Anyway, they are people just like us, they don't take themselves too seriously"

Marine has met Chris Hemsworth and Kristen Stewart

Today, Marine tells us about her encounter with  Chris Hemsworth and Kristen Stewart (Twilight, Snow White and the huntsman)

"After a sleepless night, sitting in the cold on Leicester Square in front of the Odeon, queuing for the Snow White and the Hunstman, We were just behind the security barriers. The red carpet is beautiful. Well actually it's a green carpet!

when the actors begin to arrive, the screams start from everywhere and in every language. Rupert Sanders, the director, and his wife. They are just in front of us to make pictures.

Then Charlize Theron and  Sam Claflin  arrive, they laugh a lot and hug. I take a picture with Nick Frost. He is super nice and funny this actor. 

Finally it's Chris Hemsworth turn, he is huge but adorable, he agrees to take a picture with me.

After him, the one almost everybody was waiting for : Kristen StewartHer dress is just beautiful, just like Kristen is! She signs autograph after autograph but unfortunately, she is forbidden to take pictures. She aks her agents who tells her that she cannot take pictures. She seems sorry for her fans.

In front of the photographers, I take out my "Delicious Vinyl"T-shirt, (the same as hers, she sees it and wink at me while thumbing up to say "COOL")! It's so sweet and unforgettable those little things they do for fans.
