Tony has met Darren Criss and Kristen Wiig

Today, Tony tells us how he met Darren Criss, the Glee actor.

"Hello everyone,

I saw Darren Criss at the premiere of Imogene (9/7/2012) during the Toronto Film Festival. Imogene doesn’t have a release date yet, but it will be Darren’s big screen debut. He was very animated and friendly to the press and the Glee fans of which there were plenty.

I confess that I don’t watch Glee at all, nor am I a Criss fan, nor could I even tell you what his character’s name on the show or even anything about him, so unfortunately, I didn’t have anything to ask him. But he was very gracious to sign autographs for everyone or to pose with people. I even got one for my sister.

As a funny side story, Kristen Wiig stars in the movie.

I tried to make small talk with her as we graduated high school together: How are you? Going to miss you on SNL. Good luck. Missed you at the reunion. She half jokingly, half mortifyingly said, Oh my god, I can't believe you just outted my age to these people. She's sharp.

" Hello,

Will Ferrell and me

The meeting came around thanks to www.threadless.com and www.facebook.com/MothersMonth

After winning a competition on the site I was flown out to San Diego for 5 days and a few days into the trip I was taken to the event he was hosting where I got to meet with him. 

He was a lovely guy who was easy to talk to. We joked and laughed, he was actually taking time out to help the cancer for college charity so he is an all round nice guy

This was the tee that got me there "

I came out of a movie in a New York theater back in 2004. I saw Amy Poehler and Rachel Dratch. I came to them and told them I don't want to bother them, but I would love a picture, and I was an SNL fan.


They said yes and were really nice about it. I handed the camera to another woman and asked her to take the picture. She asked if it's just point and shoot, and took the picture.


As I was taking the camera and walking away I realized that it was Tina Fey who took the picture. By that point I was to embarrassed to walk back in and ask for another picture."

"Hello,

I met bill hader after SNL in february 2009. my best friend and I were obsessing over the Lonely Island and we decided to go to NYC for my birthday weekend. we got stand-by tickets for the show, but unfortunately, did not make it in.

We went back to our hotel to watch the show, and before it was over we headed back to 30 rock. They have gates set up after the show for fans to wait. Eventually, the cast starting to come out and we ending up briefly saying hello and getting photos.
