Sarah has met Emilie de Ravin

Today on the blog, Sarah tells us about her encounter with Emilie de Ravin

"Hi there! 

I was extremely excited to meet Emilie de Ravin a few weeks ago because she is one of my all time favourite actresses. I first saw her on my favourite show LOST and then in the film 'Remember Me' with Robert Pattinson, and was thrilled when she was cast on one of my new favourite shows 'Once Upon A Time'. 

I met Emilie at the set in Steveston, BC on October 25. It was just me and a few other fans that I knew from visiting the sets previously which was nice because we got more time to chat, opposed to when there's tons of fans there and you have to get a quick photo and then move out of the way so other people can get a chance before the actor gets called back to work. 

Emilie was really sweet, she came over and said 'Hi' and the very nice security guard took a photo of us. I then got her to sign my autograph book and she thought it was cool since it's like a miniature prop replica of a book from the show.

She joked around asking where I got it and saying she wanted one. I told her how much I enjoyed her on LOST and how glad I was that she was on this show now too and she talked a bit about how much fun she was having working on Once with the cast and creators. 

She then proceeded to take photos with the other 3 fans there and we chatted a bit about her character on the show and the precious episode we had just watched. I'm grateful for how generous she was and hope to see her again soon!! We also talked to some other cast that day that i've met previously including Robert Carlyle and Lana Parrilla and others who i'm not allowed to say because the crew doesn't want to spoil the surprise!;) -Sarah"

Ashley has met Jennifer Morrison

Today, Ashley tells us about here encounter with Jennifer Morrison, the "Ounce Upon a Time" actress.

"Hello,

I had met Jennifer Morrison at ABC tv week after party but my camera on my phone decided not to work. So missed taking a picture with her. Then I got my chance to meet her at Bloomingdales. I arrived early just to get a good spot to meet her.

When I met her I told her my story and she was amazing. She gave me a hug and finally I got the picture with her. It was like a fairy tale ending."

Ashley has met Lana Parrilla (Once Upon a Time)

Today, Ashley tells us how she met Lana Parrilla, of "Once Upon a Time"

"Hello,

Last April was the ABC up front. I went to the up front, but I didn't get to see anyone. Still I didn't want to give up so I went to the after party. The first person to arrive at the after party was Robin Thicke. The next person that I met was from the show Once Upon a time.

Most know her as the Evil Queen/ Regina, but in real life she goes by Lana Parilla. I can say for sure that Lana is nothing like Regina. She was very sweet and took pictures with anyone who asked."

I met Josh Dallas at the after party of the ABC tv week. He was really sweet when I met him. He took a picture with me even though he was being rushed.

"Hello, 

I was at the Alma Awards 2012 were I ran into Lana. She was a total sweetheart. When I came up to her and asked her if I could get a pic with her she said yeah yeah and bend over to my height.

Terri has met Ginnifer Goodwin (Once Upon a Time)

"Hello,

I met Ginnifer Goodwin on one of their last days of shooting, I wasn’t sure if I could even get a photo or talk to her because there were a lot of fans there. After their filming, Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas approached the crowd . I was shy actually but I managed to get close enough to Ginnifer to ask if I could have a photo with her. She was really sweet and said sure.

I didn’t get to talk to her as so many people were there, and her bodyguard was watching very closely. I wanted a photo with Josh, but didn’t get one as shyness overcame me, I hope I can go watch the filming again so I can get a photo."

"Hello,

Lee Arenberg and me

I became obsessed with the show 'Once Upon A Time' after watching the first episode because the show is from the writers of 'LOST' (My all time favourite show). Anyway, I was hooked right from the beginning. I didn't even realize it filmed in my area until a few episodes in after recognizing some locations on the show and looking it up! I visited the set for the first time about halfway through Season 1. Just being there is amazing-it's like you get to step right into the show! Visiting the set became even better once we realized how welcoming the cast and crew is and how much they love to show their appreciation to the fans that support the show.

The first cast member I met was Lana Parrilla and have seen her many times since!

She is such an amazing person, always showing her love for the fans by taking time to talk to us and give hugs. I met Josh Dallas Shortly after I met Lana. He too is amazing towards the fans. Prince Charming totally suits him!

Another cast member that always makes an effort to greet fans in Robert Carlyle. I am a HUGE fan of his work, and he's just such a great guy to everyone. Those three are always going above and beyond for the fans, though pretty much all the cast members are great about taking photos and signing autographs!

Some of my other favourite cast members that I have met are Ginnifer Goodwin- I have been a fan of her work for a long time! She's super sweet.

Eion Bailey Is a great guy, too! He talked with us for what felt like forever!

One of my personal favourites is Lee Arenberg. He played Pintel on the Pirates of the Caribbean movies which are a family favourite in my house. Lee is such an awesome guy, always taking time to chat with the fans! I also got to meet Alan Dale who played one of my favourite characters Charles Widmore on my favourite show LOST. Meeting him was totally a highlight to my summer! He's such an amazing actor. Some of the other cast members that I have had the pleasure of meeting include Raphael Sbarge, David Anders, Meghan Ory, Jared Gilmore, Michael Coleman, Beverley Elliott, Gabe Khouth, the show's creators Eddie and Adam as well as a few that I'm probably forgetting!

As long as we are respectful on the set and do what we are told, the cast and crew dosen't mind us hanging around on the set. They really make us feel at home. I love watching them film scenes and hope to complete my photo/autograph collections soon with the cast members I'm missing!"

"Hello,

Some months ago, I was doing some grocery shopping, looking like nothing, not expecting to meet these two gorgeous people. I am really shy but Josh looked my way and smiled at me. I don;t know where I found the bravery but I said Hi and asked for a picture.

They were absolutely angels, so nice, gracious. I was a little bit scared to talk to them but they never made me feel like, I disturbed them, they were joyful and talkative and we had a nice little talk. It was such a good moment, I'm happy I met them. "

End of Sean meetings with Josh Dallas (once upon a time)

Today Sean tells us about the last time he met Josh Dallas; the actor of Once upon a time.

"Hi, 

I saw Josh one more time during the filming of episode 21 in March. He signed a few autographs for fans. He signed my old set chair back which we were allowed to keep from the set visit. Josh Dallas always seems to be an approachable friendly actor to his fans. Almost seems like the cast member that stands out when it comes to frequent fan interaction as long as you’re respectful and not a crazy fan hehe.

Of course he’s working hard with the rest of the cast during filming and can’t always find time to greet fans. But everyone I talk to who’s ever met him always seems to have good things to say about him."

Sean has met Josh Dallas

Today, Sean tells us the rest of his encounter with Once upon a time actors.

"I saw Josh briefly again near the end of September when I was working as the volunteer/staff co-ordinator at the Once Upon a Cure charity gala. http://onceuponacure.com/gala/special-guests/ Nearly the entire cast of Once Upon a Time was in attendance along with Executive Producer Edward Kitsis. 

During this time a friend of mine one an auction to have as set visit to the show. She invited me to be her plus one for the visit. We chatted a bit with the cast at their dinner table and I believe it was Josh who suggested we should visit the set on a day when they were filming Fairy Tale sequences.

Flash forward to November 21, 2011. The show had finally aired a few episodes and my friend and I were invited to watch the filming of episode 12 at MGM Bridge Studios. We were allowed full access to the studio facilities, they gave us a trailer to sit in, a copy of the pilot scripted signed by the cast, and our very own set chairs with our names

 

The scenes being filmed that day were with Robert Carlyle, Emilie De Raven, and Lana Parrilla. But Josh pay a surprise visit to the studio when he wasn’t even working that day. He was picking up some mail and came by to say hi to us. He walked right over to my friend and I. He knew our names, said hi and chatted a bit with us.

 He told us a story about how cold it was filming that scene he was passed out in the river in his hospital gown. “Find me faster” he was saying. He said they had to bring in a mobile hot tub for him to sit in to stay warm in between takes."

Sean has met Josh Dallas, Ginnifer Goodwin and Jennifer Morrison of Once Upon A Time

Today Sean tells us everything his first meeting with Josh Dallas, Ginnifer Goodwin and Jennifer Morrison, the stars of Once Upon A Time.

"I first heard of Josh Dallas when I saw his name attached to Thor which was in production at the time. There wasn’t much information on him. But I also noticed his work when he guest starred on Hawaii 5-0 and CSI. I heard about the Once Upon a Time pilot back in February 2011 that had been green lit to film in Vancouver in March. I was a fan of many of the actors attached to the project. I saw some of the filming of the pilot, met Jennifer Morrison and heard many stories from the crew on how this pilot was being shot and how it would work as a potential series. I was excited to see it. Hoping it would be picked up. I started following most of the cast on twitter around that time. I tweeted Josh and others good luck and with hopes that they would get a pick up. He replied back a few times.

 

When the series was picked up and announced they would be debuting at San Diego Comic Con in July 2011, I made sure I put every effort into seeing that panel. I tweeted

Jennifer, Ginnifer and Josh and rather frustrated tweet because the comic con staff was treating their panel incredibly disorganised giving incorrect information. To my surprise Jennifer Morrison replied back with a rather long reply clearing up all the confusion. I saw the pilot screening and sat front row at the panel

                           


During a short audience Q&A with the panel, I believe I was the only audience member that asked Josh Dallas a question. I asked if it was hard to learn all the sword fighting and horse riding. After the panel I managed to get into an autograph session with the executive producers. The cast said thanks for asking the question on twitter. I guess they didn’t think there was an passionate interest in their new show. And they all thought it was surprising I came all the way from Vancouver to see their panel. Josh asked me if I flew in just for that day hehe. The executive producers told me jokingly if I wanted to see them I should’ve just hung outside the hotel they were staying at. Haha"
