"Hi, 

Jade Castrinos and me

I saw Jade at a flea market in los angeles. I just went up to her and asked if her name was Jade, and she said "yes" very nicely. i said something about how much I liked the band (trying to maintain my cool; this was probably at the height of my e sharpe phase and i was very excited). she was very nice and agreed to let me take a picture with her."

Stephanie has met Jade Castrinos from Edward Sharpe and the magnetic zeros

Hello, today Stephanie tells us the story of her encounter with Jade Castrinos.

"Hello, 

So in March 2011, They had a spectacular show at the Old Vic Tunnels. After they played on stage a lot of people cheered for an encore. They weren't allowed back on stage so they had an impromptu acoustic set afterwards outside in the actual tunnels. We actually couldnt find our way into the tunnels to begin with and we stopped to ask someone for directions and it was Jade!

She directed us in and after the acoustic set and we all sat around together and sung along which was really nice. Apparently they did the same thing the next night too.  They stayed around chatting to fans and we went up to chat to her again.

Brandi has met Alexander Ebert and Jade Castrinos (Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros)

Today Brandi tells us about her daughter meeting the members of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.

"We were at the Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa. The band had drove straight in from Austin from the Big Easy Express release and you could tell they were exhausted, but my daughter was able to get to their trumpet player Stewart Cole who was so gracious as to sign a autograph and then went to the tour bus out back and asked if Jade and Alexander would come back in and meet my daughter.

Although I could tell they were very tired they were so nice and kind and signed autographs and took pictures for the people that stayed around. I would have to say they are very thankful for their fans and show their appreciation through their actions. I don't think one love is just a lyric they sing, but what they live by"

Marco has met Jade Castrinos (Edward Sharpe and the magnetic Zeros)

Maco tells us about his encounter with Jade Castrinos, the lovely singer from Edward Sharpe and the magnetic Zeros)

"After I met Alexander Ebert, I stayed there 5 more minutes and finally saw Jade coming my way. Well going to the Bus :) .


I then asked her if I could have a picture with her saying "I came for you". She laughed and said it was really nice. She was genuinely flattered and happy that someone came for her. With that wonderful smile of her, she said "sure, I am more than happy to give you a picture".

We looked at the picture and we laughed of our funny happy faces. Jade asked me some questions, if I liked the show, where I lived and what did I do in life. I made a joke about stalking people near their bus on my free time and she laughed a lot. She said she liked my sense of humour. She then apologized because she had to go on the Bus.

I keep a wonderful memory of that day, Jade is an angel, the nicest person I have met and I love her even more now.

I hope I can see them again soon"
